In a Box

Ding Dong.

Morning Folks! I know we’re all familiar with all the sample box subscriptions that are out there, like CurlBox, Sample Society from, Glossy Box, there’s even a Bark Box for your dog; YES! I said it your dog!

Knowing all this I shouldn’t be surprised that there’s a Nature Box. Yup, chock full of healthy nutrient rich snacks and food products to try.

Now since I’m on this healthy cleaning eating kick. I’m honestly considering trying the box out, driven by pure curiosity. The box is roughly 19.95 per month which includes shipping and everything is delivered to my front door. There’s no minimum number of orders and it can be cancelled at anytime.

What do you think? To box or not to box?

I Have A Dream….

… that by the end of this month I will feel strong and look better for the longterm. I’m getting older and the harder it will be for me to lose what i don’t like about my body.

Now I’ve done this clean eating and working out thing before and I failed, but not this time. All other areas of my life are falling into place and this is the last to follow suit. When it comes to working out I’m not sure what I will do. I’ve tried the Insanity workout and I quit, then I started this DDP workout and quit. I ran daily then I quit, (because I noticed i was losing what little curves I have, no bueno, lol.) Now I don’t know. I will concentrate on one aspect at a time to a healthier me to achieve my goal.

I don’t have a goal weight but I have an ideal look I’d like to achieve and it’s on my vision board that will add to my motivation. Happy Monday!!

Look Good Naked

I have no reason to lie or hide, I am me and this is my blog and you are all here for these reasons (I hope), so let’s have a real talk.

Who doesn’t want to look good naked, seriously?! I sure do.

I love my skin and my proportions for my size I appreciate tremendously. My problem is the extra poundage I’ve put on in the last year or so. I’m not going to say it’s out of nowhere, I knew what I was eating (not the healthiest of food choices), I knew I should’ve been more active (i.e. working out).

Yes this is what’s really under those beautiful fashion post I do (I promise to do more soon) and I’m just tired of sucking it in. (These photos where taken March 23, 2013)

It’s never too late to start. SO….

March 1st was supposed to be the beginning of this new health and fitness lifestyle and on the first of this month I went out and ran/jogged. I felt great afterwards.


I can’t even tell you what happened but I fell off. More truth time. I don’t have the funds to support such a lifestyle (i.e. the food part). Whatever I get from jewelry sales and side stuff keeps me afloat at the moment and that’s the gritty truth.

Also, I’ve been trying to do too much at the same time, hair challenge, fitness challenge as well as business happenings; so I had to take a major step back.

A new.

I’ve searched high and low. Researched all the latest fads with fitness and I’ve found what programs and/or a system that will work for me and what I’m trying, correction GOING TO accomplish.

Today, March 24th, 2013 I’m starting a new. It’s a fresh start. I’m carrying around a completely positive attitude change, with the help of The Secret Trilogy [the secret, The Power (currently reading) and The Magic ( I will be reading soon)].

Tomorrow is day two and I will work on an official “training” schedule. The main event for the next 60 days ( March 25th – May 25th), will be Insanity a product of Beach Body. The supplement will be my morning run to get the day started and give me some energy.

Foodie: Smoothe Antixoidants

It’s morning and I’m feeling for something different. I have this awesome but still in the works exercise regimen that I will be taking on, but now is as good a time as any to get a breakfast routine down. As I was scouring Pinterest foodies, I can across this delicious looking smoothie made of mango, kelp, pineapple and banana. It looked real tasty and sounded real good. Eureka! I will make smoothies for my breakfast routine for the summer months, keeping it light, fresh and oh so fruity.

So I got up and off the net, headed to the kitchen an made a smoothie!


I didn’t have the kelp but, I made do with what I had since I didn’t feel like going to the store, laziness, is a terrible thing. I blended those fine blueberry antioxidants with some sliced apples, mango and canned pineapple.





20120612-101320.jpgOf course the berries monopolized the color and was having a flavor fight with the mango, but it was oh so good, I look forward to more summer mornings just as juicy.
