Birthday Special | Remember When…

I remember like it was yesterday…

Happy Birthday To Me!

On this very day last year, I was starting my morning poolside in the beautiful Costa Mesa, CA with room service ordered and mimosa in hand, to kick off celebrating my birthday. I wouldn’t have changed that amazing weekend for the world nor could I have asked for a better gift (Thanks again Spoon).

Today it’s my birthday and I’m not poolside, but it’s still a very special day. The amount of love I’ve received over from friends and family is a blessing and I am forever grateful. Today was a beautiful, extra humid, but still beautiful. Perhaps next year I will take trip somewhere cool and document it for you guys!!

By the way I’m on 👻 SNAPCHAT find me @cayfrg

Weekend Wrap Up

My weekend started earlier than anticipated last week, Tuesday (July 10 ) to Sunday Afternoon (yesterday).
Here’s a run down of what my “week/end” consisted of on “the Island”:
  1. Dave & Busters
  2. Hooters (for the first time)
  3. Cheesecake Factory (CF), really for dessert, but we figure why not have a small meal
  4. The Meal: Sausage and Ricotta Flatbread
  5. Dessert: Chocolate Tower Truffle Cake (if you haven’t had it I RECOMMEND IT x2!!)
  6. Work up the next morning to see the Oscar Mayer Weiner Truck, (I’ve never seen it in person, nice surprise to start a silly day)
  7. Bubble Time
  8. Something random and cool (I really like Instagrammin’)
  9. Back to the Cheesecake Factory, but this time not on “the Island”
  10. Figured I’d try to nap… (#failed!)
  11. More of that Chocolate Tower Truffle Cake  (CTTC), (I had wine with it this time , not shown and “BS” had Milk, such a big kid, ha ha.)
  12. Finally a home cooked meal at home.

I had a third helping of  CTTC from CF to go and share it with my girl. As you can see she LOVED IT!!

Ending last night with a thunderstorm at the front door and Derailed on lifetime. All in all a spectacular “week/end” of fun and random moments, topped with over indulging in sweets. THANK YOU CHEESECAKE FACTORY FOR THE DESSERT & “BS” FOR HAVING YOUR BIRTHDAY DURING THE WEEK!!

How was your “week/end”?? Follow me on Instagram

Today is a very special day. Its been a long time coming and a long time waiting for. It’s my Lil’ Big Brother’s 21st Birthday!! WOOOOOOO WHOOOOOOO!!

Does he have anything planned, I haven’t the slightest, but he’s a grown up now, YAYY!!

I did all headshots

May all you dreams and aspirations come true. Also may you have many, many, many more years to come.

Love, Big Sissy

Weekend Wrap-Up: “ALADEEN”

As I said on Friday the weekend was Oh-So GORGEOUS!! It was filled with relaxation, laughter and ended with a warm birthday celebration for dear old friend, which just reminds me of how old we are all getting and how I should really think about making that bucket list soon before I hit my milestone birthday in 2014. Woah! that’s so close.

So back to the weekends events. A great friend, “BS”, came into town this weekend, on a whim, to which I was more than excited to see, just because it’s a guaranteed awesome time when we get together. “BS” is a bit of a movie buff so I’ve had some catching up to do. We did dinner and movie Friday night. The Dictator on Friday which was Aladeen, haha, you know what that means if you saw the show and Saturday was all about The Five Year Engagement.  Both movies were as funny as I thought they would be. Friday’s dinner was a bit disappointing, thou. I’ve been going back and forth about mentioning the name of said establishment and I’ve decided to do so. Super Duper Weenie, has pretty good reviews, and it was featured on Guy’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, SCORE RIGHT!? Sadly, I will not be a second time visitor. Customer service was pleasant but the meal not so much. It didn’t live up to what my taste buds expected and that’s that.

Saturday I had a birthday celebration to go to, so I was looking forward to some good eats that night.

On my way to the party, had to take a flick, who knows what I would look like as the night went on.

The guest of honor’s sister is starting up her bakery business and she made the fantastic tasting cake. She also has some serious skill with fondant.

The following two pictures are courtesy of the birthday boy. The morning after, its like to we the sponsors of Ciroc.

Below, I got creative with my gifting which was much appreciated, and I quote” …One of the best birthday gifts…” said by the birthday boy. I’m happy he like it.

Sunday was a family trip to Brooklyn and I indulged in the friends food and a favorite quick grab and go chicken spot, but I have fried shrimp and fries.

How was you weekend? Did anyone on the west coast see the annular solar eclipse yesterday?

Happy Monday!

Weekend Wrap-up

This weekend wasn’t all that eventful, but it was a special weekend none the less. Saturday was my mother’s birthday and what a major milestone birthday it was, so there has to be a celebration.

First she was treated to a spa relaxation package thanks to my sister and then finished off the night with an intimate dinner, thank you dearest little big brothers at The Melting Pot with all her kids and the grand kids. For those who know me, you know that’s of whole lot of people, haha.

It was a blast, as always when we get together, straight clowns we are. Non-stop laughter. My mother had a great time too.

Outfit of the night->Top, Jeans, Belt, Necklace: F21; Rings: Brooklyn NY dollar Store; Shoes: Rainbow Glitter Bakers Shoes

I wish you many more years and blessing 🙂

How was your weekend? Anything eventful happen or not happen?
